The needs continue as always ..... but especially now as the economy has gotten bad for a lot of folks and they can not keep their pets as well as it is "baby" season and lots of little ones are coming in ......

- Baby Wipes (used to wipe down animals as we are limiting bathing due to drought)
- Adams (or another brand) flea control or any flea product including meds
- Oust or Febreeze (for odor control)
- Catnip
- Birdseed
- Wash cloths, hand towels, large or king sized towels
- Sharpies (black preferred) or ball point pens (blue or black ink only)
- Small pads of paper, post-it notes, and/or standard sized "legal" pads
- Shredded Paper (not the cross cut paper please!)
- Old socks - adult, children, baby (all sizes and colors needed (washed please), can have holes)
- Batting or fiberfill
- Fleece (any - can be old clothes or blankets or new yardage/remnants - yard sale finds would be wonderful)
- Yarn (remnants are fine)

What a great idea for what to do with all of those mysterious single socks. I have tons of washcloths and such too! I'll get them together and bring them up next week.

Immediate needs:
- Supplemental Milk/Formula (for puppies or kittens)
- Rice (white, fast cooking)
- Plain Yogurt (not low or non-fat or with fruit)
- Treats

Any updates on what time this month you guys are going to be doing the rabies shots there? smile.gif

Mektige,

The Rabies Clinic most likely is going to be the first or second Saturday of September, per the vet. As soon as the definite date is set, we'll be posting here and on our website at www.pauldinghumane.org.

If your contract requires it be done before then, just call the Shelter and ask about extending it til the Clinic date. 770-445-1511.
