Luke Jackson Spence, JR, age 55, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2009. He was born on July 13, 1954, in Tate, GA, and was preceded in death by his wife, Nan Jones Spence, son, Luke Spence, and father, Luke Jackson Spence, SR.

Survivors include son, Justin Spence of Pennsylvania; daughter, Bobbie Spence of Mableton; mother, Betty Spence of Dallas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas Spence of Dallas, Greg & Robin Spence of Dallas, and Brian & Helen Spence of Powder Springs; sisters and brothers-in-law, Robin & Michael Webb of Canton, and Lisa & Scott Johnson of Douglasville; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at 11 a.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with Sam Saliba officiating. Interment will follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery in Nelson, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 2, 2009, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
