Congratulations to East Paulding and McEachern. With McEachern's win over Harrison and EP win over Kennesaw, EP is one win closer to making the playoffs. EP will have to win the last two games against Cherokee and Woodstock and Harrison will need to loose one game. The game against Cherokee is a home game while Woodstock is away.

Cherokee and Woodstock should be taken lightly. Cherokee has a region win record of 3-4 and over all of 3-5. East Paulding region standing is 4-3 and overall at 5-3.

Woodstock is the stronger of the two. Only loosing to McEachern 31-37 and beat out Kennesaw 40-0.

Harrions plays Marietta next week with a record of 2-5 in the region. Harrison's final game is with Etowah who is ranked 3rd with 5-2 in the region. The game against Etowah will be a close match up with Etowah being favored to win at this time.

The game pictures of East Paulding and Kennesaw is up at http://photo.davidrm...School-Football.

Congrats EP Raiders. Hiram has one game remaining -- Sprayberry this Friday. Play-offs are closer than we think. We Believe.

Hiram is definitely doing well this year. I do not want to jinx the team by saying anything about future games - just my little superstition.

I am sure the Dorsey family is loving this year. With Coach Dorsey at Hiram and Coach Jim Dorsey, who is now the AD at McEachern, both doing so well this year. Again, do not want to jinx by speculating how the year will turn out for either.

Steve Fouche has some great pictures of the games. Check them out if you have not already. http://www.ngaphotos.com

David, I think that if East wins noe of our last two, and Harrison loses both of theirs we will be in with the stronger region record. Go Marietta! Go Etowah! Go East!!

I think you are right

If I am not mistaken, it would be possible for EP to be 3rd in the region or even 2nd

Third place

Etowah looses the next two games.
Harison looses Friday and wins final game- 5-4 Playoff 4th place
East Paulding wins final two - 6-3 Playoff 3rd place
Woodstock wins Friday and looses final - 7-2 Playoff 2nd place

Second place

Etowah looses the next two games- 5-4 Out of the Playoffs
Harison looses Friday and wins final game 5-4 Playoff 4th place
East Paulding wins final two - 6-3 Playoff 2nd place
Woodstock looses last two games - 6-3 Playoff 3rd place

Does that look right?
