Can you take them to the Dallas Billiards (in Paulding Plaza, after 6 pm)? MizCue may be able to get someone else to take them to the shelter from there (?) .....

Here are the immediate needs:
- Newspaper (with no ads if possible)
- Treats (dog & cat)
- Plain long grain white rice
- Plain yogurt (no low fat, non fat or fruit)
- Canned food (dog/puppies & cat/kittens)
- Supplement (milk) for kittens/puppies, powder or liquid (note: cannot be any cow based milk product)

- Canned food: Cat/Kittens .... Extremely limited
- Canned food: Dog/Puppies ... Somewhat there, supplies low.
- Treats: Dog/Puppies ... Somewhat there, supplies low.
- Plain long grain white rice ... Somewhat there, supplies low.
- Supplement (milk) for kittens/puppies, powder or liquid (note: cannot be any cow based milk product) ... very low.

I kept Newspaper on the list as it is ALWAYS needed and I thank everyone who helped with the latest crisis when we had almost none .... Save the newspaper and recycle, they will take any amount you have!

no rice or yogurt or at levels which will not help many ....
as full as the shelter is -- anything to help boost immunities (such as this) would be very very helpful .....

Rice should be the long grain white rice (Minute is just a faster and more expensive version as they cook it briefly before drying and packing) ....
the cheap stuff in a bag (usually on the bottom shelf) is great for the shelter as they have gotten a couple of rice cookers.

Really appreciate the information! I had no idea rice had gone up that much ... I usually get it at Kroger, last time for about 15# for about $9 but even with the prices you posted it is a much better deal!

11am to 6pm (just found out the times,
Costco had the 50 lb bag of rice for 20.00. it is a little cheaper than Sam's.

This would be very appreciated for the dogs who are in the outside runs or the yards. They have (some) houses to go into, but that is still cold plastic ....
