You'll have to watch the video to figure out the time.
The hint for the two tickets to tomorrows big gig will require you look at the video.
Check the times the picture of Ricochet (The band featured Saturday night) and note the 'out time' in minutes and seconds of the last moment that picture appears.
Then convert that time into from minutes to hours and seconds to minutes and you'll know the time the winning topic will open. Round the time to the nearest ten minute increment and be the first one to post at that exact time in this topic: http://www.paulding....howtopic=126843
Example: 1:33 (one-minute and thirty-three seconds) would translate to 1:33 (p.m.) which when rounded would say you should be the first to post at 1:30 flat.
Of course you'll have to watch the video to know when Ricochet leaves the screen. Then you'll need to find the above post and be the first to post precisely at that time.

You look at the video.
At the bottom left of the video player is a 'time-clock' that tells you how long the video has been playing.
It reads in minutes and seconds.
You'll see the picture of Ricochet.
You note the time, do the rounding and then poise yourself in the topic specified until that time.
Heck, you'll probably get someone to tell you the time and you'll both try and decide to go together if you win.
it really is not rocket science

Here's what I was trying to respond, Pubby, since ya said it wasn't rocket science and all:

Nah, that's not what I meant at all...the post title and the first post indicated that you could win by posting it this thread...but turns out, that's not the case. Gotta watch the video and post tomorrow. Gotcha. Rocket science.

things got a bit confused because there were two identical topics ... board hiccup I guess ... and I awarded collegegal the tickets to tonights program ... Indeed, that was partly an error because the functionality of opening and closing topics by time apparently has become a bug in this version of the board. (It worked in earlier versions but that feature doesn't work now.) I had planned to use that function for the contest and indeed, I made another mistake... posting the item in an open forum by mistake too.
But, since I did and since Collegegal was the third poster (fourth post including the OP) she won the tickets.
we're now in a new contest which is noted by the bold face type above.
I hope that contest will go smoother.

the tickets are for tomorrow ... but the post time in the named thread for tomorrows tickets IS TODAY.
Watch the video and post in the right topic to win.

Thanks, Pubby. Really, I *do* understand. The confusion was over the two identical posts, not over the rules.
But anyway, thanks!

You are braver than me, I was going to suggest the same thing, but he out weighs me by about 100 lbs.

The picture of the band ricochet appeared in the video at 2:14 and the photo exited the video at 2:20 (two minutes and 20 seconds) ... which translated to 2:20 p.m. today.
Congratulations to Laurie Penney.
